Bodhi Tree Charities

In the past the Bodhi Tree has donated the proceeds from our Karma Yoga classes to the following organizations in Calgary;

  • Diabetes Foundation
  • Red Cross
  • Salvation Army
  • Child Friendly Calgary
  • Arthritis
  • United Way
  • Progressive Alternative Society of Calgary
  • Brown Bagging it for Kids

Our first International Charity has been Project Musema. On November 18th, 2007 the Bodhi Tree held its first silent auction in support of this project. The auction was overwhelmingly successful and the Bodhi Tree community was able to raise almost $10 000 dollars for Kent and Landis Bubbs to use in Barundi.
