Bodhi Tree is a quiet and tranquil space and we invite you to help us offer a peaceful and nurturing environment by starting your yoga practice the moment you enter. The following guidelines will help:

Arriving at the Studio
For your first class, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the class begins. We encourage you to create an account online before you come so our front desk staff can greet you, get you signed in, and show you around the studio. 

Personal Belongings
A Bodhi Tree staff member is usually present in the studio while classes are in session. During our first and last classes of the day, the front door remains locked. However, although our studio is safe and secure, we do not have lockers and we encourage you to leave valuables at home. The Bodhi Tree is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.

How to Prepare
Bring a mat and a towel. You may rent these if you forget yours or don't own them. If you walk, bike, take transit etc. (arrive anyway other than driving) your mat and towel are complimentary.  Arrive well hydrated and be prepared to drink water throughout and after class. Since yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach, eat lightly or not at all for 2-3 hours before class.

How to begin to grow your practice
Ask questions before and after class to better understand the practice. Our teachers, adjusters and front desk staff are here to serve you - create a relationship with them so they can better understand and meet your needs.

Practicing 2-3 times per is a good place to start. Many practitioners practice 4-5 times per week or more. 2 classes or more per day is excessive, and more than 1 hot class per day is not permitted.
